I’m Farrah Marfatia

I’m a passionate educator, changemaker, and thought leader and I’ve dedicated my life to community engagement and social activism.

I was born and raised in the city and consider it home. As a second-generation Canadian, my siblings and I had the privilege of benefitting from public schools and private faith-based schools. Although I did not always intend for life to circle back to the path of education, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute professionally to both public and faith-based school systems. For me, my greatest sense of fulfillment has come from bettering the lives of those around me. Education is one of the most meaningful ways to serve my community, and it is a path I am grateful to be on.
